  1. You can only but try - remove as many cosmetic parts as you can such as covers and see what you have then. I remember asking myself the same question when I used to repair Jaguars and the V12 you couldn't see the engine for pipes and hoses and wiring - once you looked beyond the initial dread and awe then you can focus on where you want to be within the engine
  2. Looking to automate side mirrors on a 2023 RHD Lexus ES 250
  3. Just took the engine cover off my JDM LS600H which I've had for a few months and zI can't see where the 5 litre V8 begins and ends! At 110,0000 km I'd like to tackle the spark plugs but it's confronting to find them. Just did the valve cover gaskets and 12 plugs on my Chrysler Crossfire, but that looked a fun afternoon compared to the Lexus. Anyone changed the spark plugs?
  4. Hope I am not too late in responding, but why not save yourself the hassles and buy a JDM already imported by a dealership. I bought my LS600H in Melbourne from Unibee in Dandenong. They have agents in Japan who buy only top notch cars at auction there, send them here, go through the compliance, roadworthy, registration.
  5. Probably worth a search in the IS forum section to see what recurring faults keep popping up.
  6. I would keep an eye on those stations and if you see anyone using it then have a word with them to see if it is a problem with your car or the distribution network
