Hi, I'm John. I recently bought a 2007 LS460 with a few extras, including a TOMS exhaust, body kit, and 19-inch wheels, and I'm loving it so far. I also have a KE25 circuit car with a 4AGE BT20V running E85, forged pistons and rods, an Autronic ECU, a Holinger straight-cut T50 gearbox, and a T-series diff.

you would have to check with the supplier but the equivalent ones would also be on eBay and the sellers usually list the models they fit - and quality is usually better from a reputable trader

I'm not sure a vehicle of that age had wifi updates fitted but I might be wrong There are aftermarket SatNav update supplier and send out an updated SD card for hardly any cost at all. I have read that some are no good but for how cheap they are its certainly worth trying one

A few months ago I purchased a 2013 Lexus IS 300h luxury. The sat nav had not been updated since the car was new. My local Lexus dealer quoted $440 for a 2024 update SD card. I decided it was not worth paying that for a two year old update. However I am now finding the sat nav is frequently "getting lost". I figured out how to re-set it, but it is becoming annoying doing this every few days. I wonder if an update SD card would fix this problem, and if there is a cheaper way of getting the update. I would appreciate any advice.

I would say the transmission ECU may just need recoding but any automotive electrical specialist near you should be able to sort it. At least you could then eliminate this as being an issue - does the transmission look new or even as though it has been removed and replaced?

hey guys my name is Mario and I have an issue with my 2006 lexus gs430 this is my story: I just bought the car recently and the previous owner told me that he lost all gears all of a sudden and that it needs a new gearbox and a ECU recalibration he told me that his mechanic told him that he needs those work done on the gearbox ( valve body , line pressure solenoid, lock up solenoid ) he said better change the whole gearbox i dont know !!! and in the electrical side he said ( sold need to be reflowed and IC ( transmission control ) plus the ECU needs recalibration or something due to heat damage. he also mentioned that I can send it to ( relentless motor ) in texus , United States but I need someone in here sydney Australia that has good experience with those cars. NOTE: the car goes into ALL the gears and moves except the D ( drive gear ) it won't move and I can hear a clunky noise. my mechanic told me thats there is no issue whatsoever in the car when he diagnosed it except two codes relating to the transmission and the solenoid not getting information or instructions from the ECU. something like that Can you guys help me with what do you think the issue could be ? a bad solenoid, bad valve body, or an issue with thr ECU ans if changed to new one or recalibrated could solve the issue?? or if you know a good car electrician that has good experience in those old V8 that will help alot.
